so, it has been a long while since i have been on here... and even longer since i have blogged, so i am going to let you know what's up.
i just recently applied at my college for the social justice leadership position... and i am so excited about this upcomming year! i am planning an IJM benefit dinner, as well as hosting Derek Webb for a concert on campus to raise awareness about injustice around the world and in my local area. i am also hoping to institute a service-learning program on campus for college students become more invested in serving others.
i am back in Camden, NJ this week, serving with an organization called Urban Promise. i was an intern for them this past summer--it is so great to be back. Camden is the 5th most dangerous city in the US and the poorest. there is so much injustice all around me, but in the midst of all of it--there is hope.
since the new year has rolled in, so much has happened. i am learning so much about God and truly trying to humbly seek God's face in all things and be led by his Holy Spirit.
i wanted to share a verse with you, which has become my anthem this year... may it bless you...
