sex slavery and child trafficing does not only happen all over the world it is happening righ here in AMerica Atlanta, Georgia is the #1 hub for child trafficing and child prostitution and slavery in the US and #5 in the world how said is that what are we going to do about what is going on in our back yards
Jacksonville here. In searching the internet for activists mostly all I found were non profits asking for donations and talking big-talk. There are very few people taking an interest in this subject. Does anyone know what the federal protections are for people liberated from modern slavery while in the US? What are the resources in place if any of these people are freed? Are there any abolitionist networks yet?
Lawrence, how do we find out the answers to your questions? It would be horrible to see people freed, only to have them jailed and deported, only to end up in the cycle again. Underground RR?
Well, I was hoping someone online would know. Amnesty International should have some info. Also, FBI, DEA, other state and federal agencies?
After some research, there seems to be the possibility of forming a modern underground movement on behalf of entrapped people. Law enforcement doesn't seem to be very interested in tackling this subject. Someone needs to (me?).
